MYSTERIES IN SHORT FICTION

all things dark and dastardlyOn Sunday, November 20, Sisters in Crime: Heart of Texas chapter will present a program about short fiction: crime fiction anthologies, short stories, and markets for short story submission in the mystery vein. Chapter authors will read selections from their short fiction stories. We will discuss mystery anthologies and how to put one together.

Members will also vote on our slate of officer 2017 candidates at the November meeting. The candidates are:

Helen Currie Foster for president

Gale Albright for secretary

Sisters in Crime Heart of Texas Chapter meets monthly–usually on the second Sunday of the month–at 2:15 p.m. We meet at the Yarborough Public Library, 2200 Hancock Drive,  in Austin.

DECEMBER HOLIDAY MEETING

On Dec. 11, Sisters in Crime: Heart of Texas chapter will have its December holiday meeting at 2 p.m. at the Yarborough Library at 2200 Hancock Drive. We are promised a surprise program from one of our members.More information to come.
